Improving my pixel art animation skills... slowly...


Here's a preview of the player character's attack animations, which I updated today.

Hopefully it's obvious, but the brown background is the old animation, the green one is the new one xD

I wanted to add more energy and force to the sword swing - I accomplished a feeling of forcefulness by having the character pause for a few frames at the end of the swinging motion. And I created more variation in the poses that the character cycles through to make it feel a little more energetic and fluid.
